Counter Revolution
A nation-wide celebration of rock music
An offshoot of the summer Soundwave Festival, Counter Revolution emerged from the ashes of the failed Soundwave Revolution. A national touring festival, Counter Revolution takes place in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth and in 2011 was headlined by Panic! At the Disco and All Time Low. It is a rock festival with a focus on the pop-punk genre and caters to all ages. The inaugural Counter Revolution took place at Brisbane’s Riverstage on Saturday 24 September 2011.
