Independent literary publishers

Papertiger Media are independent publishers dedicated to diversity and are unique in their services by publishing in three different formats. The company is responsible for the publication of the soi 3 books imprint, hutt poetry ezine, anything i like art ezine, and the papertiger: new world poetry CDROM.

In 2004, Papertiger Media expanded its activities to Asia, and opened an office in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Since then the company has continued to expand, which has resulted in a number of new publishing imprints including novels, memoirs, essay collections, chapbooks, and theatre scripts, in addition to more new poetry and contemporary art.

Papertiger Media is a member of the Australian Publishers Association, and was winner of the 2002 Queensland Writers Centre’s Johnno Award for outstanding contribution to writers and writing in Queensland.

History:

Papertiger Media was established in Brisbane, Australia, by poet / editor Paul Hardacre, and graphic designer / visual artist Marissa Newell.
