A lounge, bar and restaurtant that hosts live music

Located in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley Entertainment Precinct, Barsoma and is a cocktail bar, nightclub and restaurant. The venue plays host to various local and international acts, playing music genres such as dub-step, trance and live bands.

Barsoma hosts the monthly event Somaspace, which is a showcase of local artists, illustration, stencil art, collage, street art, digital video and photography. They also host cabaret and burlesque dance exhibitions.

Set in an industrial loft-style space, Barsoma is a cocktail lounge, function space and a gallery promoting emerging artists from the Brisbane art scene. Barsoma is comprised of numerous areas that can be hired for private events. The space includes a mezzanine lounge, DJ lounge, multi-level dance floors and a courtyard. The venue serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as pizza and tapas food options.

Barsoma plays a different genre of music depending on the night. These feature acoustic sets and local and international DJ acts. Barsoma is open Wednesday through to Sunday.
