Globe, The
The Globe is a combined music venue and cinema theatre
The Globe is a combined music venue and cinema theatre. Located in the heart of the Fortitude Valley Entertainment Precinct, The Globe Theatre is a community based, volunteer initiated live entertainment venue and cinema. Managed and operated by not-for-profit organisation Odyssey Creative Productions, this venue is dedicated to supporting as well as showcasing all emerging artists, bands and filmmakers.
The Globe Theatre was previously two movie cinemas known as Valley Twin, however the second cinema has since been renovated and refurbished into a live entertainment venue featuring a stage complete with red curtains, sound and lighting. This venue features a sloped floor, allowing for punters at the back of the room to get a clear bird’s eye view of the stage. This indoor venue has a housing capacity of 350 people.
