Ellaways is a family-owned music equipment retailer
Ellaways specialises in a large range of instruments and music technology, with three stores across the Brisbane area. Ellaways Kedron has two separate shop fronts. 315 Gympie Rd houses a broad collection of piano and keyboard instruments, while 337 Gympie Rd is the home of music technology, contemporary instruments and Band & Orchestral. Here you will find everything from clarinets to custom made Fender Stratocasters.
Ellaways Underwood, situated at 39/45 Compton Road Underwood houses a large range of products from orchestral to production.
History:Since 1963, Ellaways Music has been a household name for Queensland musicians. Starting as a humble French polishing business in Fortitude Valley, Ellaways has grown to include three stores plus an education support facility and over 40 staff, servicing the north, and now south sides of Brisbane.
Ellaways is still wholly owned and operated by the Ellaway family and the patriarch and founder, Stanley, still has regular contact with management.
