MobileMonday (MoMo) is a worldwide community of mobile professionals. The open community promotes the mobile industry and fosters cooperation and networking among industry professionals and their companies by providing opportunities for personal and virtual contacts.

MoMo has specific objectives that every chapter across the world strives for. The organisation encourages innovation within the mobile sector, as well as facilitates networking between small and large, and local and foreign companies. MoMo seeks to help local companies effectively participate in international initiatives through the import and export of visions, concepts, technologies, know-how and best practices. MoMo also strives to present innovative visions, trends, studies and forecasts from the mobile marketplace, as well as facilitate and create partnerships. MoMo strongly believes in contributing to the education of the broader public through its publications, online presence and media partnerships.

The globally established MobileMonday (MoMo) is an open community platform of mobile industry visionaries, fostering brand neutral cooperation and cross-border P2P business opportunities through live networking events, demonstrations, sharing ideas and discussing trends from both local and global markets. Originating in Helsinki, Finland in 2000, chapters have held events in over 100 cities worldwide and new locations are continued to be launched monthly.

The Brisbane chapter of MoMo was founded in late 2008 and generally holds meetings on the third Monday of each month.
