Radio Brisvaani 1701 AM is Australia’s only fully-fledged Asia Pacific Commercial Radio Station catering for the Indian communities throughout Australia with 24/7 live webcast. Radio Brisvaani provides a voice to the Indian Community with Hindi language service on 1701AM. Radio Brisvaani endeavours to promote Hindi languages to be an integral part of educating, informing, preserving and developing cross culture. Radio Brisvaani wish to foster mutual understanding between the different ethnic originating groups in the Indian Community, using the universal language of music, news, views, information and being mindful of the diverse interests, religious and ethnic origins of the audience they cater for.

Radio Brisvaani have a team of talented presenters from India, Pakistan and Fiji who understand the needs and tastes of their audience. Radio Brisvaani programming covers a range of special music programs from old classics to contemporary pop, Blues to dance Hindi music. The talk programs examine social issues, health and spiritual needs, local current affairs and the audience.

Radio Brisvaani started in September 1997, broadcasting the latest up to date information and entertainment in everything relating to the people, cultures and products of India- be it Fiji, Somoa, India, Singapore, Canada or anywhere else in the world. Since then it has become Australia’s favourite Hindi Radio Station.
