East Brisbane Community Centre
A community centre focused on building a stronger community
The East Brisbane Community Centre (EBCC) is dedicated to strengthening families and individuals and providing an inclusive community space in the East Brisbane area. It is a professional organisation that provides opportunities for people to come together to enjoy their lives and to create a vibrant community. This is done through an active community engagement program.
Programs run by the centre include: a community support service, family day care, outside school hours care and in home care services. The centre also runs an annual art show which provides a free, public forum to showcase the work of artists with a background in languages other than English. The overarching aim is to provide an opportunity for people from all cultural walks of life to showcase their talents and culture to a public who would not normally engage with such diverse cultures.
