Link Disability MagazineA cross-disability magazine distributed nation-wide Link Disability Magazine is a cross-disability magazine, which is published in Adelaide and distributed Australia-wide. The magazine reports on a diverse range of topics including news, issues, art, sport, breakthroughs, travel, health, advocacy and products, and also features opinions and perspectives directly from people with a disability. Link Disability Magazine aims to provide information to people living with a disability and carers, health professionals, disability organisations and policy makers. The magazine offers information, advice and insight into life with a disability. Link Disability Magazine maintains a high standard, producing articles that are written in easy-to-read English and printed in large clear font. The magazine is also published on audio cassette for people with print disabilities. The magazine releases five editions each year in April, June, August, October and December. History:Link was established in 1980, starting out as a small state-based newspaper, and rapidly evolved into a disability magazine that is distributed nationally and internationally. The magazine is created and published by Inprint Design, which is an Adelaide-based graphic design company. This company provides supported employment for people with a range of disabilities.
