Acoostic Zoo is located in Wilston and aims to provide an affordable and professional service for local artists. The company prides itself on its creative studio environment, high-end mixing system and recording equipment, low rates, ability to price match, attention to detail and output suitable for release via radio or online mediums.

Acoostic Zoo services mainly vocal (pop, dance, hip hop and R&B) and acoustic artists and uses a selection of industry-recognised recording gear from brands such as Shure, AKG, Maton, Neumann and Rode. In the past year, Acoostic Zoo has purchased a high-end Neumann M149 mic and Roland TD-20 VDrums for triggering high-end drum samples. A free studio walk-through is available to interested parties as well as the potential to book live recording, mixing, remixing and voice-over sessions. Acoostic Zoo also provides online mixing.

Acoostic Zoo was founded by Vaughn Leong and is currently operated by mixing engineer Josef Horhay. The recording studio has worked with a variety of Brisbane musicians and is working to provide enticing recording packages for local artists.
