Australia’s only national free postcard advertising company

Avant Cards are postcards that are displayed at a variety of diverse venues and can be accessed for free by six million viewers each week. The scope of its distribution network provides a platform for consumers to opt in and engage with brands and advertising messages. Avant Card is a progressive communication medium that reflects the dynamic and evolving nature of out of home media across Brisbane, Australia and around the globe.

Avant Card has attracted a multitude of local and international clients including: The Italian Film Festival, Australia Post, Queensland Museum, Universal Music, Queensland Theatre Company, The Body Shop, National Gallery of Australia, and the University of Queensland.

Avant Card has a full in-house design studio, print and production facilities, and distribution network. Campaigns can be tailored to reach specific target markets by distributing postcards to certain venue types. Cafes make up more than 50% of Avant Card venues, while other venue types include cinemas, theatres, art galleries, universities, retail stores, cultural institutions, and an ever-growing high school network.

History:

Avant Card iwas founded by two sisters, Pat Mackle and Wendy Mackle. Avant Card has been utilised as an advertising medium to connect brands with people since its inception in 1992. During this time, it has taken over 7 of its competitors and grown to become Australia’s only free postcard advertising company with more than 1,500 quality distribution points. Avant Card has established comprehensive reach into the urban consumer market. The company has also created international networks with similar postcard companies across the world.
