Free publication that is available in the Queensland region

The Queensland Chinese News (QCN) is a free publication that is available for mass distribution in the Queensland region. QCN is hoping to become the largest provider of a free Asian newspaper publication. Currently the QCN has a distribution run of 11,000 copies weekly.

QCN is distributed at various locations that are specifically targeted to the wider Asian communities including information centres, Chinese organisations, Chinese and ethnic business networks, supermarkets, news stalls, selected real estate agents, restaurants, educational institutes, and major tourist centres. The distribution network for QCN currently covers the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Sunshine Coast regions; though copies are also sent interstate and overseas. QCN are always searching for new places to distribute their publication.

The QCN focuses on providing in-depth coverage of the latest international and local news. They also provide a variety of information and articles on travel, sports, motoring, health and entertainment.

History:

QCN has an active involvement with the local community and has worked together with Brisbane City Council and Brisbane Marketing, along with other local associations and clubs to bring the community a variety of events. Other services offered by the company include Chinese/English translation, printing services, graphic design and marketing solutions.
