Queensland Clarion Awards
Queensland based awards promoting excellence in the media
The Queensland Clarion Awards are a series of state-based awards which seek to promote and reward excellence in the media. Coordinated by the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance the annual awards celebrate high quality journalism and reward those professionals who demonstrate an ongoing commitment to excellence in media coverage, which informs and entertains Queenslanders.
Open to all journalists and media professionals the awards acknowledges all forms of print and electronic media throughout Queensland.
History:The Queensland Clarion Awards have been re-branded with a name reminiscent of the history of the Australian Journalists Association – one of the founding sections of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance.
