A Brisbane-based college which focuses on the creative industry

The Design College Australia (DCA) is a Brisbane-based college and is located in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane. The campus location is in the creative centre of Brisbane and the college is encircled by design studios, advertising agencies and art galleries. The college provides courses which are relevant to different design areas, for example, graphic design and design technology. Flexible courses are supplied by the school. The study period of graphic, photography and multimedia are between 3 months and 2 years.

The DCA is an education institute which stimulates discovery, exploration and experimentation but still teaching the core skills of the design industry. The college strives to provide an excellent level of education to its students.

The DCA has teaching staff who are current design industry professionals as well as academics. The DCA takes small class teaching system to ensure the students receive one-on-one teaching.

DCA also enables students to complete a Bachelor degree through its university pathway with University of the Sunshine Coast. Students who successfully complete Design College Australia’s Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication (Design) gain a place in the University of the Sunshine Coast Bachelor program.

The DCA was founded in 1990 as an independent institution.
