TAFE offering media courses in Western Suburbs

The Bremer Institute of TAFE (TBIT) is a large Queensland TAFE that supplies occupational education and training services to individuals, businesses and industry. The Bremer TAFE delivers more than 250 accredited courses from certificate to diploma level, assisting students to enter the workplace, helping workers upgrade their existing skills or preparing learners for further studies. The courses it offers cover a wide range of study areas including the arts, entertainment and design. Through offering both short courses and career courses, it supplies flexible course structures that aim to meet students’ diverse requirements and skills for employment. The Institute provides traditional, online and distance learning methods of study for its students.

The Bremer TAFE has experienced teaching and support staff who are trained to custom design learning programs in order to meet the highly individualistic needs of business and industry. The Institute also has industry programs, which are designed to ensure that the teaching staffs are kept aware of the continually changing industry trends and developments. History:

Established in 1891, TBIT was previously known as the Ipswich College of TAFE – one of the earliest technical and further education facilities in Queensland.
