Allegro Networks is a Queensland-based Internet Service Provider (ISP) that offers business and premium broadband access, private networks and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. The company also provides Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX), a standards-based technology, developed to distribute broadband to homes and businesses at a high speed without the need for cables. Allegro Networks makes a wide range of Internet products and services available for small to medium businesses and enterprises employing more than 50 people across multiple sites. It also delivers next-generation services to residential communities, universities, retirement villages, as well as resorts.
This year, Allegro Networks launches its new service called business continuity that takes care of redundant gateways, firewalls, switches, routers and other available network components.
History:Allegro Networks was founded in 2005 and has built a first business-grade WiMAX network across South East Queensland.
