Christian Media Australia is the peak body for Christian broadcasters and programme producers in Australia. Christian Media Australia represent its members to all government and non government industry bodies. Organisations represented under Christian Media Australia include Christian radio stations, Vision Network, Christian television, both commercial and paid, short wave international broadcasters, radio programme producers, television producers and record companies.
Christian Media Australia is a member driven organisation. Membership of Christian Media Australia is open to any organisation that operates a broadcasting organisation in Australia or supplies programme content to a broadcasting organisation. Individuals are also eligable for membership if they subcribe to and follow a set of procedures and a code of practice.
Christian Media Australia was formed in 1978.
