Brisbane Cabaret Festival is an event that celebrates contemporary cabaret
The inclusive vision of the Brisbane Cabaret Festival is to showcase the innovative and exemplary practice of Australian cabaret artists to a world market. Not only does the Festival run annually, the organisation also develops new cabaret productions and tours these productions. It also acts as a presenter, facilitator and tour producer of existing cabaret shows for other Qld artists.
Since 2000, the Brisbane Cabaret Festival has established itself as a mainstay of the Brisbane entertainment industry. Presenting over 35 acts such as singers, dancers, comedians, mimes and entertainers, the Brisbane Cabaret Festival runs over a two week period and includes free events and programs.
