RPAC provides live performance for the residents of Redland City

Redland Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) provides local opportunities for community participation in arts and cultural life, and encourages local creative industries and cultural entrepreneurship.

RPAC is a high quality professional performing arts centre in Redland City, located 30kms east of Brisbane City on Moreton Bay. This venue is a major initiative of the Redland City Council, and offers local opportunities for community participation in arts and cultural life, and encourages local creative industries and cultural entrepreneurship.

RPAC’s feature venue is the new multi functional, 500-seat concert hall, primarily designed for small to medium orchestral and fine music. The venue can be transformed into a proscenium arch venue to accommodate reinforced music performances via the installation of a ‘soft proscenium’, soft furnishings and acoustic blinds. The centre offers a variety of performance and function venues available for community and commercial use, along with a range of related professional services including ticketing, technical production, front of house, marketing and catering.

RPAC offers the Redland community access to a variety of high quality productions and performers of national and international standing.

The Concert Hall was officially opened on 11 March, 2008. RPAC’s inaugural annual performance season commenced in April 2008. In addition to a professional performance program and subscription season, RPAC also presents Musical Melodies, a regular annual performance series, primarily designed to offer three to four concerts for the Redland community’s seniors and pensioners at affordable prices. RPAC is also dedicated to offering high quality live theatre experiences for school children of all ages as part of the centre’s annual school’s program.
