Cyclic Defrost is an Australian specialist electronic music magazine based in Sydney and distributed Australia-wide. The magazine features editorials, advertising, articles and reviews that focus on independent electronic music, avant-rock, experimental sound art and left-field hip hop.

Cyclic Defrost is published three times a year and is available for free in selected record stores such as Rocking Horse and other outlets across Brisbane. It is distributed by Inertia Distribution and edited by Shaun Prescott and Alexandra Savvides.

First established in 1998, Cyclic Defrost was initially a photocopied promotion for a Sydney club night. The magazine has grown from a distribution of approximately 600 people across Sydney to a nationally distributed print run of 5000 copies.
