Valhalla Game Studios
A community based games software development and training company
Established in August 2007, Valhalla Game Studios is a community contributed games software development and training company.
The company aims to create games with a large scope by involving gamers in all stages of the game’s development. All ideas and feedback in relation to the game have the opportunity to be incorporated as the game designers at Valhalla Game Studios actively and regularly engage with the gaming community.
Valhalla Game Studios recognises the growth of the gaming industry in Australia. The company offers paid traineeship programs for High School students residing in South East Queensland. The traineeship program is designed for young future game designers to gain experience and to receive hands on training within the gaming industry. Upon completion of the program, participants receive a Certificate III in Information Technology.
The team of over 40 staff is currently working on Valhalla Game Studios’ first release, OMNI, as well as two other projects that are well into their development stages. One titled R.O. is slated for release in 2013, while a project codenamed Sky Pirates is set to be released this year.
