An annual electronic and dance-music festival

Future Music Festival is a national dance music festival presented by Future Entertainment. Future Entertainment is a youth-focussed company, founded in 1993, by Mark James and Jason Ayoubi.

Future Music Festival is one of Australia’s largest dance and electronic music festivals, featuring world renowned DJs and live acts. The festival is now a national event with dates in all states around Australia. The festival aims to showcase international and local electronic artists, and equips the festival with sophisticated audio, video and lighting technology. Some headline acts of previous Future Music Festival’s include: Chemical Brothers, Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum, MGMT, The Prodigy, Empire of the Sun, David Guetta and Mark Ronson.

Future Music Festival is scheduled for March 3, 2012 at the Doomben Racecourse, Brisbane. The line-up for the 2012 festival includes Swedish House Mafia, Jessie J, Fatboy Slim, Tinie Tempah, Paul van Dyk, The Wombats, Skrillex and The Rapture.
