Easterfest
A three day music festival held in Toowoomba each Easter

Previously known as Australian Gospel Music Festival (AGMF), Easterfest is one of Australia’s largest Christian music festival for people of all ages. Over 30,000 people attend the festival each Easter. Easterfest hosts 12 stages, onsite camping, over 200 local, national and international performers as well as a diverse array of attractions.
The three day festival takes place in Toowoomba’s Queens Park and CBD. The festival provides entertainment and contributes to the social, economic and cultural environment of the Toowoomba community. In 2001 the AGMF centralised the festival in Queen’s Park and introduced onsite camping.
Easterfest will be held from 6 April to 8 April, 2012.
History:The festival was officially launched in 1998 at Toowoomba’s Empire Theatre with a sold out James Morrison concert. In 1999 the festival was launched as the inaugural Australian Gospel Music Festival (AGMF) held in multiple venues throughout Toowoomba.
In 2008 the AGMF 10th anniversary was held to coincide with the transition to the new name, Easterfest.
