Ric’s Bar is an intimate music venue located at the top end of Brunswick Street Mall in Fortitude Valley. It has adopted a rich history in the local music scene, as well as a reputation for supporting smaller touring artists on a national and international level.

This venue is a Fortitude Valley icon, often referred to as a central point of the cultural district, and has evolved into a meeting place for Brisbane residents visiting Fortitude Valley. Split over two levels, the venue also includes game tables, several bars and an outdoor seating area both in front of and behind the venue.

Ric’s Bar employs a number of DJ’s who make regular weeknight and weekend appearances. They have become something of a cult favourite for the public, due in part to their eclectic mixes of genres, playing most things imaginable within the independent music spectrum.

In its time as an operating venue in Brisbane, Ric’s Bar has cemented itself as a significant contributor to the promotion and fostering of local musicians and is renowned for hosting quality music entertainment nightly.
