Communications Alliance

An organisation promoting the development of the Australian Communications Industry

The Communications Alliance aims to promote the growth of the Australian communications industry through the protection of consumer interests and high standards of business ethics and behaviour. Encouraging the self-governance of the communications industry, the Communications Alliance upholds that it is in the best interests of all participants, consumers and regulatory bodies that the Industry devise practical, self-imposed solutions developed by co-operative processes. The Alliance also promotes the research and development of new trends and innovations. The Communications Alliance facilitates open, effective and ethical competition between service providers through the use of a collaborative forum for the Communications Industry. They hold regular activities and events, and release a monthly e-newsletter: ‘We Communicate’. Membership of the Communications Alliance is drawn from a wide cross-section of the Communications Industry, including service providers, vendors, consultants, suppliers, and business and consumer groups; making this organisation relevant and far-reaching.

The Communications Alliance began as a merger between the Australian Communications Industry Forum and the Service Providers Association Inc. to assist the growth of the Australian communications industry.
