Special focus on higher education vocational programs

Southbank Institute of Technology provides more than 400 programs in a wide variety of disciplines at certificate, diploma and advanced diploma levels. The institute also offers associate degrees and vocational graduate certificates and diplomas for those wanting advanced training.

All Southbank Institute of Technology programs are developed in consultation with industry and are taught by industry professionals who have a desire to pass on their knowledge to the next generation. The institute has also negotiated many direct pathways to further study for those graduates wanting to continue into university.

Southbank Institute of Technology offers arts, media and performance programs including diplomas in music industry business, performance and technical production, screen studies in film and television, visual effects and animation, multimedia, photo imaging, photography, graphic design, live production, theatre, events and visual arts.

Southbank Institute of Technology has three campuses in Brisbane situated at Kangaroo Point, Morningside and Southbank. Each year it has an estimated 30,000 students enrol into the 400 courses the Institute has on offer.
