A college that specialises in still photography

The Brisbane College of Photography and Art offers a variety of full-time and part-time photography programs. The courses are designed to teach still photography through digital and traditional skills. Students are offered a syllabus including technical theory and practical skills as well as the business of photography. The college is equipped with recently upgraded facilities including a fully functional dark room and two studios.

The college holds a number of workshops and short courses on various topics associated with photographic art. This includes short workshops in fields such as landscape, wildlife and figure photography as well as studio lighting courses. The courses can be taken as self-contained units or as a long-term program. The College also provides mini lab training, computer imaging and digital camera courses in its choice of programs.

Since Brisbane College of Photography and Art’s inception in 1993, The Brisbane College of Photography and Art has significantly contributed to photographic education in Queensland.
