B105 is a Brisbane based commercial radio station broadcasting commercial hit music combined with entertaining shows, celebrity gossip and elaborate promotions. The station is owned by Southern Cross Austereo and is a part of The Today Network which is broadcasted in all metro markets and selected regional areas.

With a primary audience demographic of 18-39 years and a slight female skew, B105 is primarily a hit music station and is all about pop culture. With award winning presenters and shows, it is content such as this that has enabled B105 to hold the number one position for the Drive show and high ratings in other timeslots.

As of September 2011 (Survey 6), B105 held the number two position overall in the Brisbane radio market. B105 is also available on digital radio and iPhone app.

B105 first started broadcasting as 4BK in 1930 when it was owned by Hoyts. Austereo then purchased the station from Hoyts and switched 4BK to the FM band in February 1990 where it became known as B105 on the 105.3FM bandwidth. In 2011, Austereo merged with Southern Cross Media to become Southern Cross Austereo, a national media company owning radio and television stations across both metro and regional markets.
