A weekly progressive, green and socialist news publication
Green Left Weekly is committed to human and civil rights, global peace and environmental sustainability, democracy and equality.
The magazine helps strengthen the anti-racist, feminist, student, trade union, environment, gay and lesbian, civil liberties and anti-imperialist movements by linking the issues and activists, and by letting people know how they can join others in action for change.
Green Left Weekly is sold on the streets by activists and is available online. To keep the paper afloat, Green Left Weekly sponsors many events such as film nights, public forums, dinners and rallies to promote issues and involve people in changing the world.
History:Green Left Weekly was launched in 1990, as an initiative of the Socialist Youth Group, Resistance and the Democratic Socialist Party.
