Buzz Grants
Funding for young musicians, sound artists and music arts workers
Buzz Grants is a funding body established by the Federal Government to support young musicians, sound artists and music workers aged between 12-26 years.
Buzz Grants offer funding to individuals to encourage creative new work, including songwriting, composition, performing, recording, professional development and an International Pathways program for touring bands.
The Foundation for Young Australians invests over $158 million in grants and financial support to a variety of organisations and individuals throughout Australia each year. This investment will continue into the future through a variety of grant rounds and initiatives provided through Buzz Grants that are focused on supporting talented individuals and youth-led organisations.
History:First established in 2002, the Buzz Grants funding initiative is offered through the Music Board of the Australia Council for the Arts, and is administered through the Foundation for Young Australians
