The national association for Australian graphic designers
The Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA) was formed with the goal to facilitate the advancement of the graphic design profession in Australia and to foster fair and productive working relationships between graphic designers and their clients. AGDA manages a program of awards, exhibitions, seminars and professional development activities for its members. The organisation also provides blog as a platform for exchange of ideas.
There is a range of membership options for students, associates, professionals, affiliates and groups. Understanding that supporting students helps foster the future of the industry, AGDA provides work experiences as well as job seeking tips as practical assistance for student members.
History:The AGDA is the peak national organisation for professional graphic designers. It was founded in 1988 to facilitate the advancement of the graphic design profession in Australia.
