DLA Phillips Fox is a full service law firm that offers a variety of corporate and commercial legal services to a broad range of clients. It is one of the largest law firms in the Asia-Pacific with offices in Australia and New Zealand.

DLA Phillips Fox Intellectual Property and Technology Practice Group is led from its Brisbane office. It has extensive experience in advising local and international clients on protecting, exploiting and commercialising intellectual property rights across various media and technologies.

The firm is also heavily involved in the media, entertainment, film and film finance sector having been involved with movies including Tomorrow When the War Began, Bright Star, Cedar Boys, Samson and Delilah, and Red Dog.

DLA Phillips Fox is aligned with DLA Piper, giving the firm access to international networks of legal services and expertise. It advises a range of industries on areas such as intellectual property, information technology, telecommunications, intellectual capital and commercialisation.

PD Phillips was established in 1864, after subsequent mergers and amalgamation with other firms Phillips Fox was formed in 1985; in 2006 the firm entered an exclusive alliance with DLA Piper, becoming DLA Phillips Fox.
