Media Rare
A full service event and music festival management company.
Media Rare is a full service event management company that provides government, corporate and community clients with site management, operational health, event compliance, safety compliance and full event management services. It produces a range of annual events that service audiences from 1,000 to 50,000 people.
Media Rare has notable experience in diverse services such as youth events, community projects, tour and production management, entertainment industry consultation, artists in residence and workshop programs. In addition, Media Rare has a qualified and dedicated team of staff that provides graphic art design services and delivers fully planned projects from inception to completion.
History:Media Rare was established in 1997 by Brian Chladjl, who has been producing events since 1989. The organisation has managed events throughout Queensland including Stereosonic, Big Day Out, Valley Fiesta, Livid Festival and Schoolies Week.
Previously, Media Rare also encompassed artist management, with clients including Resin Dogs, The Melniks, Sidewinder, The Clouds and Falling Joys.
