Post Lounge, The
Provides post-production services for film, advertising and communication industries
The Post Lounge is a Brisbane-based post-production facility that offers a range of digital tools, animation, audio, editing and visual effects. Effects and design software utilised at The Post Lounge include: Avid, Maya, Adobe After Effects, Discreet Flint and Flame.
The Post Lounge also operates The Post Lounge Digital Theatre onsite at Warner Roadshow Studios on the Gold Coast. The 20 seat theatre enables film producers and directors to view and grade their film dailies in a digital camera environment.
Recent credits of The Post Lounge include the films House of Wax_ and Gettin Square, television program Cybergirl, Channel Nine promotions and Golden Circle commercials. Promotional productions such as Everything Melbourne, and Keeping Safe (for Ergon Energy) and Channel Nine Promotions. Radio/television productions such as Hamish & Andy’s Caravan of Courage (for Austereo).
History:The Post Lounge, formerly BEEPS, was founded in 1979 by the company’s Managing Director and Senior Editor Steve Cooper. The name change coincided with the company’s move to the Creative Industries Precinct in Kelvin Grove.
