Magazine for Working Women, TheAustralian based magazine for women of all ages and professions The Magazine for Working Women is a quarterly publication dedicated to empowering and encouraging Australian women. Available exclusively by subscription, this magazine focuses on providing information and stories that enable personal and professional achievement in women of all ages. Subscriptions cost $32 per year, providing the readers four unique magazines addressing the trends and issues of the quarter. International readers can access the magazine, however subscriptions rise to $42 for NZ residents and $65 for International residents. As a print publication published by Women’s Network Australia (WNA), the magazine has a readership of approximately 40,000 women. Its reader is aged 25 plus, with over 75% coming from the small to medium business sector and the remainder being employed in executive and senior management positions. History:The Magazine for Working Women was first produced in 1994 by Women’s Network Australia (WNA) after its fourth year of establishment in the industry. The magazine originated from Brisbane and is now operating in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. WNA was founded 17 years ago by Brisbane entrepreneur Lynette Palmen AM, who has retained sole managing directorship since inception. Appealing to all women from the home-based business owner through to CEO’s in the corporate sector, the magazine offers a balanced range of member activities and benefits which are supported by business education services including forums, mentoring, publications as well as consulting services.
