Government magazine providing information to the Queensland community
community connect is the official magazine for the Queensland State Government Department of Communities. It is published every two months, with more than 40,000 copies distributed to the Queensland community via 12,000 organisations and individuals. community connect is available online and can be downloaded as an Adobe Reader document.
community connect includes information on the range of services and programs available through the department and government partners, to help people improve their quality of life and participate fully in their community. It covers articles on topics relating to people with disabilities, senior citizens, Indigenous people, parents and children. Each edition also reports on community events and highlights upcoming events.
