Northside Chronicle
A northern suburbs weekly community newspaper
The Northside Chronicle is a local community-focused weekly newspaper that services the major growth corridor of northern Brisbane, stretching from the inner-city suburb of Kedron to Carseldine on the major route north to the Sunshine Coast.
The paper is printed every Wednesday and primarily features local news and sport from its region, as well as dedicated guides for property, health, entertainment, fashion and beauty.
The paper has a circulation of more than 63,294 each week with a total readership of 106,000. Its core demographic range is between the ages of 35 and 64.
History:The Northside Chronicle was established in 1985, and has kept the local community up to date with news and current affairs for more than two decades.
In 2006, Quest Community Newspapers was acquired by News Limited and has since been published as part of its News Community Media network, although it has retained the Quest Community Newspapers branding.
The paper has continued to grow despite an overall decline across the newspaper industry, helped largely by strong population growth within its primary distribution area.
