Pine Rivers PressA free weekly community newspaper The Pine Rivers Press is a free weekly community-focused newspaper that services the outer northern suburbs of the Brisbane regional area, around 15-30km from the CBD. The newspaper’s distribution area is a high-growth area and enjoys a blend of urban and rural living, with many new housing estates predominantly comprised of young families and first-home buyers. The newspaper’s coverage includes: Mango Hill, Kallangur, Murrumba Downs, Petrie, Lawnton, Bray Park, Warner, Strathpine, Bald Hills, Brendale, Kurwongbah, Dakabin, Albany Creek and Eatons Hill. The newspaper is also delivered to the following rural areas: Griffin, Joyner, Cashmere, Whiteside and Clear Mountain, as well as being bulk dropped to Dayboro. The Pine Rivers Press maintains a circulation of approximately 35,760 and a total readership of 52,000. History:The Pine Rivers Press was established in 1993 and has been informing the local community with news, sport, entertainment and fashion ever since. The newspaper’s publisher, Quest Community Newspaper Group was acquired by News Limited in 2006, and has since been incorporated into the company’s News Community Media network, whilst retaining its original branding.
