Magnertron Studios provides broadcast quality audio and visual production facilities

Magnertron Studios’ original objective was to provide Brisbane’s local musicians with access to broadcast quality sound production facilities. More recently, Magnertron Studios has diversified providing video production services. As a result of this expansion Magnertron Studios produced the metal influenced Underground Sounds television series for local station Briz 31. Magnertron Studios’ modern sound and video production facilities give customers access to Macintosh sound and video editing programs, a drum booth, digital video cameras, video editing equipment and software, a blue screen, graphic and web design facilities, and professional compact disc (CD/DVD) production services. Magnertron Studios has a strong focus on facilitating and unearthing emerging local acts and is involved in aiding musicians, with already produced video clips, in distributing and broadcasting their work.

Magnertron Studios was founded by a father and son team in 1998, and takes its name from son, Shane McNamara’s, local metal band Magnertron. Shane’s industry experience has helped shape the direction of the studio. Shane and his fellow band members are also heavily involved in the creation, promotion and production of the Underground Sounds website and television series.
