Galloping FilmsGalloping Films is a Brisbane distribution and production company Galloping Films, was founded as a boutique distribution and production company by Carlos Alperin in 2002. As managing director, he has participated in over 40 international film and television markets and conferences since 2002. His company Galloping Films focuses on developing and distributing feature films, television series and factual programs that explore human complexities crossing cultural and political borders. Galloping Films distributes a variety of audiovisual content across a range of different genres. These genres include animation, comedy, thrillers, science fiction, environmental, social and political films, soap operas, martial arts, music, sitcoms, television drama and variety shows from more than 70 international producers, four international broadcasters and three international distributors. Galloping Films licenses these films and television programs to free to air film distributors, television stations, cable and satellite broadcasters as well as DVD distributors. Galloping Films has produced animated series such as Cosmo Kids, Winner of the Monte Miller Award by the Australian Writers’s Guild, and The Pup Pups, developed with Scottish TV. Along with distribution executive, Troy Bullock, Galloping Films’s support team includes Peter Bolam (solicitor), Paul Overell (accountant), Cassidy Fine (graphic designer) and Andrew McKenna (web designer). Galloping Films attends between eight and ten international markets per year including: Marche du Film (Cannes), Filmart (Hong Kong), TIFFCOM (Tokyo), AFM (Los Angeles), Hot Docs (Toronto), IDFA (Amsterdam), AFM (Singapore). History:Galloping Films (formerly known as El Zorro Distribution) was established in 2002 by Carlos Alperin to fill the need for distributing independent feature films and documentaries.
