Showcase of the creative work of advertising and design professionals

The Brisbane Advertising & Design Awards is an annual awards event organised by the Brisbane Advertising & Design Club (BAD Club) in October each year in recognition of the best and brightest advertising and design professionals. The event showcases the most creative work from the Brisbane advertising and design industry across a variety of mediums including print, electronic, radio, interactive media, design, and photography. There are also special sections for outstanding local practitioners and student designers.

The judging panel for the awards consists of media professionals working as creative directors, executive producers, designers and copywriters in the Brisbane and interstate advertising and design industry. Winners of awards are chosen based on their demonstration of originality and freshness in addressing scenarios and problems common to the advertising industry, underscoring the creative genius of the people working in the industry.

The BAD Club is the longest running advertising association in Australia and represents almost 300 advertising and design professionals, working in fields from leading multinational firms to boutique creative hot-shops. Run entirely by volunteers, the Club’s focus is to foster creativity throughout Queensland.

Over the past 37 years The Brisbane Advertising and Design Club awards are the most anticipated event of the year.
