Magna Pacific specialises in Australian and New Zealand DVD distribution

Magna Pacific (Holdings) Limited (MPH) is a major independent home entertainment distributor in Australia and New Zealand. Magna Pacific has a catalogue of over 2500 titles and distributes DVD and Blu-ray products to 20 major retail outlets around Australia. Magna Pacific is the licensed distribution partner for cable television series seen on the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the Bio Channel. It also has licensing to distribute for The Pokemon Company, Chapman Entertainment Ltd, Marvel Studios Animation and MGA Entertainment.

Magna Pacific has expanded their product offering by branching into theatrical distribution to ensure an ongoing supply of high quality, first release films. Some of the films and series included in The company’s catalogue include The Motorcycle Diaries, Goodnight and Goodluck, Pokemon, 3rd Rock From The Sun and The Cosby Show.

Magna Pacific has a diverse customer base with 6 000 shop fronts across Australia and New Zealand. It services rental chains, mass merchant retailers, specialist music stores, specialist home video retailers, newsagents, bookstores, home entertainment stores and direct mail houses.

Magna Pacific was incorporated in 1983. Their current headquarters is located in Eagle Farm, in Brisbane’s inner east. Magna Pacific now has facilities in Australia and New Zealand. In 2009, Magna Pacific became a fully-owned subsidiary of an Australian production and distribution company known as Beyond International.
