Magazine for Christian women on general and religious topics

Footprints is a magazine for Christian women published quarterly. The magazine covers broad, traditionally female oriented social issues such as infertility and conflict in marriage. General religious articles also feature prominently in the publication, such as prayer partners, Christian faith and the Christian journey. The magazine aims to provide Christian women with an entertaining and uplifting read that blends serious issues, testimonies and fun hints and tips for the Christian lifestyle in the 21st Century.

The publication has a website that reproduces content from the print publication. In addition, Footprints offers an email chat group for Christian women to join, and provides a free monthly e-news update.

Recently Footprints has begun to service an international market. The magazine now has subscribers from New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Japan and the United States of America.

The first edition of Footprints was published and launched in Brisbane in January, 1998. Footprints has since spread throughout Australia with copies distributed among the churches attended by contributors to the magazine.

Footprints is only available through subscription and currently has over 500 paid subscribers. Its subscription cost is $12 per year and discounts are given for bulk orders. The website has undergone significant renovation, with the 2006 version offering Footprints its own domain name and a revised email address.

In 2008 Footprints celebrated its 10th birthday, and looks forward to publishing its 50th issue in May 2010.
