The Blurb is an online arts publication providing a source for Australian arts and entertainment with an alternative skew. Updated monthly, The Blurb reviews artists and art exhibitions in Australian galleries, Australian authors and books, films and film festivals, music and musicians, theatrical events, television shows and DVD releases. It also offers competitions where readers can win prizes related to the latest arts and entertainment.

Reaching over 80,000 unique visitors per month, The Blurb’s readership is aimed at a predominately “white collar” demographic who sit in the 18-35 age bracket. The Blurb also offers a range of advertising options and syndication of its reviews to other publications. The reviews are compiled by an array of reviewers and often feature interactive media such as comment fields, embedded media and links to sources.

The Blurb ultimately aims to promote arts in Australia.
