The Nine Networks’ youth orientated and light entertainment channel
GO! is a youth orientated light entertainment channel, which through offering alternative viewing helps the Nine Network increase its appeal to a wide audience. GO! is broadcast in high-definition, Australia-wide on channel 99.
The channel’s slogan ‘Let’s Go’ and multi-coloured logo align with GO!’s target audience and programming. GO!’s programming features comedies cartoons, dramas, movies and a range of ‘Aussie firsts’.
GO! features a range of comedies including The Big Bang Theory, South Park, Funniest Home Videos and Two and A Half Men alongside older episodes of Seinfeld, Just Shoot me and Sin City. Drama’s such as The Vampire Diaries and Gossip Girl also feature on Go along with the Smurfs, Ben 10 and Flintstones for younger viewers. Furthermore movies are a constant feature on GO! such as Suddenly 30, Paul Bart: Mall Cop and 21.
History:GO! was launched on 5 August 2009 as one of the Nine Networks’ subsidiary digital television channels.
