Ipsos is a survey-based market research company whose purpose is to interpret, simulate, and anticipate the needs and reactions of consumers, customers and citizens around the world. Ipsos has three offices in Australia.

The company provides both qualitative and quantitative research solutions across five key specialisations, including advertising research to explain how it contributes to the brand. Services include Advertising Pre-Testing, Brand/Advertising Tracking and Brand Equity Measurement through databases & validated tools. Ipsos also conducts marketing research to explore market understanding, idea generation, concept development, mix development and optimisation, forecasting and modelling, brand management/ repositioning and segmentation studies.

Ipsos Marketing produces the Ipsos Mackay Report, which has provided subscribers with insights into Australian society for the last 30 years. Another focus is customer loyalty and employee relationship management in order to understand customer loyalty and employee attitudes to develop effective strategies for optimising customer and employee relationships.

Ipsos Media CT also publishes the annual Australian Business Readership Survey, providing custom research for media and technology companies and consumer research for media and technology policymakers and conducts the National Readership Contract on behalf of industry body, TRW (The Readership Works).

History:

Registered on the French Stock Exchange since 1999, Ipsos operates in more than 60 countries, conducting research in over 100 countries worldwide. In 2008, Ipsos was the first international research company to join the United Nations Global Compact.
