Annual State wide awards for unpublished music
Queensland Music Awards is a state-wide search for Queensland’s best and most innovative songwriters and musicians that has been running since 2006. Proudly supported by Q Music, The Courier-Mail, 612 ABC Brisbane and ABC Local Radio Queensland, the Awards are open to all unpublished songwriters and judged by a panel of Queensland music professionals.
The Queensland Music Awards is a step up from its previous incarnation as the Q Song Awards. The new look and format will broaden the focus of the awards with a host of new categories and public involvement, thereby directing the spotlight onto Queensland artists, awarding excellence in songwriting and musicianship.
