Splendour in the Grass is an annual music, arts and culture event which from 2001-2009 took place each July/August at Belongil Fields campground on the outskirts of Byron Bay.

Since 2010, the Splendour in the Grass festival has been held over three days at Woodfordia in Woodford, Queensland. This is only a temporary relocation; the festival will soon be held at North Byron Parklands, a permanent and sustainable venue on six hundred acres of land. The dates and location for the 2012 festival have not yet been announced.

Splendour in the Grass is considered to be the largest winter festival in Australia and attracts many interstate festival goers. It showcases a large variety of music with a mix of local and international talent. As well as the music, there are a number arts and cultural attractions at the event. Previous headliners of the Splendour in the Grass festival include: Coldplay, Kanye West, The Strokes, Passion Pit, MGMT, Bloc Party, Florence and the Machine, PowerFinger, Arctic Monkeys and many, many more.
