An independent record store situated in Brisbane’s CBD, Kill the Music stocks a comprehensive range of Australian and international artists. The store has a niche market, stocking both CD and vinyl formats in punk, indie, and hardcore. Kill the Music also sells clothing from alternative labels such as Macbeth, Vans, Afends, American Apparel, Brixton, Ben Sherman, Western Shirts, Volcom, Baby Clothing and Kill The Music insignia, as well as band merchandise typically not available in Brisbane music stores.
Kill the Music stocks a range of local music and merchandise from bands such as The Amity Affliction and The Medics, in addition to complete discographies of international acts like Coalesce and Sunny Day Real Estate.
Kill the Music has hosted many in-store appearances and CD launches from artists such as New Found Glory, Parkway Drive, Brand New, All Time Low, The Nation Blue, Balance & Composure, Blueline Medic and the band which inspired the store’s name, Every Time I Die.
