National electrical and communications contractor magazine

The Master Electrician is a quarterly publication produced for the Australian electrotechnology industry. Catering for both the electrical and communications industries, the national publication is developed by the Electrical and Communications Association (ECA), in accordance with the ECA Master Electricians program. The editorial content covers a range of topics including industry trends, new technologies, interviews, and safety information.

The ECA is a not-for-profit organisation representing the electrotechnology industry. Formed in 1937, ECA provides electrical and communications contractors with information, representation, professional advice, training and commercial services. This is represented in the magazine through related issues such as telecommunications comparisons, legislative changes and qualifications procedures.

Master Electricians Australia is responsible for accrediting electrical contractors, and have been producing the magazine since 2008.
